Commit to praying on one designated day per week over prayer points sent via email
Be "on call" for urgent and real-time prayer needs sent via text on your designated day of the week
Attend quarterly prayer meetings
One of the things the Holy Spirit impressed on us at the beginning of Every Daughter is that this Prayer Core is to be a "light yoke." This means that despite the gravity of the issue or needs, we each recognize in our spirits that it is Jesus who does the heavy lifting. We're simply connecting ourselves to his heart, to learn of him, and to love those he loves - and that's a joyful, childlike position to be in! We embrace humility as learners of him and learners of the exploited women who have much to teach us. Instead of approaching this with heaviness and solemn gravity - or pride as those who "know it all"- we actually become like children, standing in simple faith and the authority we have because we are His! Application process and 6 month commitment required
OUTREACH TEAM
Prerequisite: Participation on the Prayer Core for at least 3 months
Participate in outreach sessions one night per month, done as a group from a secure phone number
Provide direct care for exploited & trafficked women, in collaboration with other Outreach Team members and under the direction of Every Daughter leaders. Examples of direct care include:
Sharing a meal with a woman who is receiving emergency respite care
Shopping for basic needs such as groceries and clothing
Assistance with completing applications for housing, employment, and treatment programs
Connecting with women via phone and in person to check in and offer encouragement
Additional Requirements:
Sign the Every Daughter Confidentiality Agreement to protect the identity and details of the women we work with
Sign the Every Daughter Statement of Faith
Application process, training, and 12 month commitment required
emergency care TEAM
Willing to be contacted for availability to support the Outreach Team during times of emergency respite care by making & delivering meals, running errands, or providing transportation
No commitment necessary, only providing for needs as you are available and willing
No application necessary, as there will be no direct contact with or detailed information shared about the women we are caring for
