Human Trafficking in Dane County: Toward a United Christian Response
Human trafficking takes place in our own community, whether we witness it or not. In Madison alone, there are many wonderful organizations that exist to support freedom, offer hope, and provide safe spaces for those caught in this evil reality. On Sunday, November 10, you are invited to join leadership from Every Daughter, Zeteo, Big Big House, Abolition Wisconsin, Collaboration Project and others to pray for our city and consider how to encourage each other for an effective Christian response.
From the very beginning, the church has been called to serve the most vulnerable, to love our neighbors, and to give hope to the hopeless. We hope you will join us to hear a compelling testimony from survivor Sherry Camp, meet with local organizations that are working together to address sexual exploitation in our community, and discover how you can make a difference for good. All are welcome, women and men, whether new to this issue or not. If your heart has been touched by this challenge and you want to begin prayerfully discerning what your role might be in confronting it, please join us!
